Hey Y'all,

Just got back yesterday from ANTC in Maryland.
AWESOME!!!!!!
I highly recommend ANY and ALL NTC grads to pursue attending this camp.
'Course, you may not face the same challenges that we faced.
The Thursday afternoon "Pioneering" class had the joy of erecting a 20 foot
tower and a monkeyt bridge in rain and gale force winds.
I got a 3 hour class on Dutch oven cooking from Alan Gell (former
Rangernetter) and the pride of Waxahatchie, Texas and some other feller from
Texas named Harris (I believe his FCF handle is "Copperhead") and Ron
"Counsellor" Davis from Potomac District.
Excellent classes on "Pageants and Ceremonies" from Cdr. Steve Schultz from
So. Cal.
John Zablosky of Penn-Del taught the "Pioneering" class, Cdr. Joe Finan
(Penn-Del District Cdr.) taught "Wilderness Survival", Dave O'Neal from
Appalachian District
taught "Advanced Compass and Map".
Sr. Guide was Cdr. Ralph Palmerton from Tennessee.
Camp Commander was none other than Dep. Nat'l Cdr. Paul Stanek.
Fellowship was outstanding and the evening ceremonies were challenging and
Holy Spirit anointed.
My patrol was "Floyd's Floating Foxes" - Raul Lopez and David Torres from
Spanish Eastern District, Roger Hayden from Alabama, Louis Ferguson from
Appalachian District, Ben Rainey and Wade Thorp from Potomac District.

I met 'Netters Denis Levitre from So. New England (he was staff), James
Styles from Alabama.
Good instruction on Inner City Ministry, Jr Leadership Training, and Gold Bar
Orientation.

Don't miss this one guys, it's good stuff!
Even Hurricanes can't stop it.

Ad Dare Sevire,
Gary "Burn'n Heart" Rothwell
Sr. Cdr.
Outpost 59, Potomac District
Warwick Assembly
Hampton, VA
