I am due to have surgery on October 1, early morning. I have a herniated
disk in my neck that will be removed and replaced with bone from the
bone bank. I have suffered two years of pain in the neck,
back,shoulders and hands. I finally was directed to a Neuro Surgeon
that found bone spurs and the disk causing all my problems. I ask that
you all keep me in pray this day of surgery. The operation is 4 hours
long and they will go in from the front of the neck. Yes, I am
afraid...but I also know this must be done or the use of my hands will
slowly weaken more. I am weak on my left side and have trouble opening
jars, typing , writing and such. Anything that requires closing of the
hand. So, if you please won't mind if you would think of me this
day...it would be a comfort knowing there are people out there on my
side. I appreciate it, when I am feeling better I will be sure to send
e-mails to everyone to tell them of my progress.
