Greetings, All, I had heard something today, that I thought that I would share... Most of us are probably sick to death about hearing about Y2K, so has anyone ever heard of Y6B? Y6B, I don't think that it is a popular as Y2K, but Y6B is a reminder to us that our work as the Lord's servants is not finished. What Y6B is, the year that the 6 billionth person will be born on this world, as some popular think tanks in Washington, DC call it. Y6B won't cause our computers to crash, but Y6B is this year. Sometimes we would stop and wonder why we would bother even bringing more children into this world when there is so much, pain, so much poverty, and suffering and just so much sin. But be of Good cheer because Christ is coming back soon. Our job, the best I can figure as laid out in the Book of Revelations, is to do as exactly as the Royal Ranger slogan says, "To Reach, Teach and Keep Children for Christ" According to what the Lord said in Revelations chapter two, that unless, the world repents of it's ways, God's got a little something for them and they are not going to like it. God is the one who is making a list and checking it twice to find out whose been naughty and nice. It has been said that even as Royal Rangers is in 64/5 countries worldwide, there is about 2.5 million of us. God Bless 'em all, that is only a fraction of the 6 billion people living here on this thing called Earth. We have to consider the brothers and sisters of our other denominations too, but it is still a small percentage of the world that knows the truth. The Lord has commanded us, as after all He is Our Commander in Chief, "To endure patiently," as he will come and keep us from the hour of trial to test everyone else. Repeatedly, the Lord tells us to hold on to what we have. He is coming soon. I don't know about you, but that is something that gets my fire stoked up. I get pretty excited about that because the Lord is using as Christians as a building block in the New Jerusalem. Wow, me, and us as the laborers who help build the New Jerusalem, its a pretty awesome thought. Anyway it is something to think about... I hope I was used to bless somebody in a small little way with this post.
