I have a prayer request. My house is in the mist of remodeling. Two
walls of the kitchen is torn to the studs. The other two is ready for
sheet rock. The place where we are going through to get this all paid.
Will only pay so much. We found out Friday that the ceiling is very
rotten. I would like them to approve tearing to the ceiling studs. That
way we know how bad the upstairs bathroom. Pray that Home Headquarters
will approve. And the contractors will be able to remove and replace the
ceiling with no problem. The kitchen work is on hold until they look at
the ceiling.
Another problem, Kathie and I got home Sunday night from visiting our
son in Pa. The high tech furnace is in. The exhaust pipe was vent out
through the wall. I told them that I wanted out through chimney.
Another problem, when the kitchen sink was removed. The cold water line
started leaking. I have been up since 3:30am with my other son moving
things around in my sewing room. My work room is below the kitchen. I
have been working out of my son's bedroom. But some of my books, carpet,
and a few other things got destroyed. We need a plumber here first thing
Monday morning. I want the contractor's to pay for that one.
Kathie and I need grace to get through this remodeling period. Pray that
the bill will not go any high that we borrowed. We already need to pay
for the up date of the furnace. Which we are 1/2 way there.
I am thankful that the kids are in college. So there is 3 less people.
We can not eat out the rest of the remodeling period. So we need to make
do with what we have. I am also thankful that none of the material got
damage. That was in the cedar trunk. Peter and I moved that up in the
family room.
