No email virus can do any harm to your system just because you read it.
This letter looks like a hoax to me. Please don't pass it on.
Do be wary of any attachments to email, especially executable files. I
usually delete them first, and ask questions later, unless I know exactly
what it is and why it is there, as well as who sent it.
