Hello All,

It looks like Southern Florida and even the Carolinas are in for another
episode of rampaging storms. If we remember correctly, Hurricane Floyd
spared much of Florida, but here comes Irene. Irene is going go where Floyd
missed. Almost two feet of rain has fallen and folks in the United States
are going to feel it a lot worse than Cuba did. Cuba suffered one reported
fatality from Irene, but she has claimed over five lives already in the US.
The projected storm track has Irene heading across Southern Florida toward
the East and will make it to the Atlantic Ocean. The storm is expected to
pass east of Lake Okeechobee, the big lake in central Florida.
As with all, storms, it is difficult to predict it's exact path but it is
believed to track northward and give North Carolina a follow up to Floyd. The
models predict 70mph winds by the time it reaches North Carolina.
As with the Royal Ranger customs, let's be "Ready For Anything" and let us
pray for the people that will be affected.
