About 3am I just woke up. I went to the bathroom and came back to bed.
I just layed there wide a wake. For the past few days i have been
sleeping a lot. I believe it is a combination of the dust, cold air, the
long trip, and eating out.
Kathie and I have been eating out because of no kitchen. We ate out
Friday night at UNO. I got very sick there because of the smells. I was
very light headed. Saturday was worse because of the dust and ripping of
the walls in the kitchen from the electrician. We ate Mac Donald's.
Today is another day in this life. I am still breathing and functioning.
I am praising God through this.
Do you realize that I am over a 1/2 century old? That someday God is
going to take me home. As i look around at people that are a lot younger
than I. I see much confusion. I see young people starting a family and
looking a lot old than I. Is it due to worry of what is going around
them.
What about the advertise conditions no matter what part of the world you
live in. I remember reading in one of Wilkerson's books. He was
mentioning how things are going to get worse. If one decides to up and
move to another part of the country. It maybe a lot worse for them.
Look at the south with the hurricanes. Look at the west with its fires.
Crazy weather, but it is all a part of God's plan. God is using these
adverse condition to draw people to Him.
We live in a temporary place here on planted earth. We are just passing
through. Am I going to get up set because my little world is being
disturb. I should say not. God uses circumstances to refined our
character.
I saw the national news last night. The news men were interviewing
people of North and South Carolina. The question being asked what do
they think about the next storm coming. The people that were on camera
mention that they could do nothing about it. That is life, why complain.
Life goes on.
Yes, life does go on. When life gives you lemons make lemon aide and add
a little sugar. In the Christian sense of things. When life gives you
adversity. Seek God and praise Him through it.
In either case, much of the time our pride gets in the way. We hang on
to the rope. Not realizing that God is there to catch us. Also fear
should be includes long with pride.
Read Job and you'll see yourself. You are given a choice to either
reject or serve God in any given problem of life.
There is an example of a person that is praising God no matter what. Her
name is Andrea. She belong to the support group that I also belong to.
She needs a lung transplant. She is refusing to lay down and die. She
has learn to praise God no matter what. She has faced death and trusted
in God to go through her sickness.
Question to ask yourself. Is Jesus in the boat with you? Then why worry
about the storms around you and that you are in.
:) God loves you and so do I,
rick
