I've been to two funerals this year. They were both for Christians. One an 18
year old former student of mine tragically killed in a car wreck. The other a
RR cmdr w/ 27 years of service to boys who drowned doing one of his favorite
things: fishing. In both funerals, yes, they talked about what they did in
life: Lora had a beautiful voice & loved children; Rich loved the outdoors &
was the most faithful husband to his wife I've ever seen. But in our church,
both funerals were occasions to preach the gospel. And I know Lora's dad has
begun to seriously evaluate his relationship (or lack thereof) w/ Christ.
