Blessed Sparrow,

First of all, may God Bless You for taking on the
leadership of these V.I.P.'s of Rangers. I don't know if
you have the S.A. Leaders book and workbook; they are
different from the Ranger handbook. They go through a
two year plan. They also have a S.A. alternative program
with a more Indian theme called "Signals to the Chief".
It is very good and has a two year curriculum also. Both
include Bible Studies, Crafts, Devotions, etc. GPH does
not carry the alternative program I believe, but you may
get both from the NCal/Nev Ranger Store. This is an
official Ranger supplier. 1-800-322-4377 ask for a
catalog. They also carry a lot of different material on
Native Americans for that age group.

Just for your info, I believe next year sometime, the
National office is planning to revamp the S.A. and Bucks
programs. I know they are working on it. I believe there
will be 8 awards and will run on a quarter system(one
award every three months). The idea is that no matter
when a new boy comes in they all will be working on the
same thing at the same time. You won't have one boy
working on Brave while another is working on Hunter.
There won't be such a big gap. Well, I hope this helps.
Sorry if its long. God Bless.
