Kelly,

Thanks for the great websites. I will be off in a couple of hours to a dark
spot outside of town with family and friends to see what we can see. We
have a surprisingly clear night for us, but pretty cold.

Noel, according to my star chart, Leo rises in the East shortly after
midnight in MO, and the best viewing time is when it is at its highest,
about an hour before dawn. So if you want to get up extra early the next
couple of mornings, you might see some meteors.

Apparently, even though today is supposed to be the peak, we have the next 7
days to watch. So, anybody going camping this weekend?

BTW, I found a nice free screensaver than shows the night sky from any
location on Earth. You can check it out and download it at

Kelly,
What time tonight?
I live in a small town that does not have very many bright lights.
I'm hopeing we will be able to see something. Also what direction
is Leo? I thought it was South SouthWest but the articall said East.

Thanks,
