I was at a Ranger Of The Year testing, yesterday.  I was there to support my grandson who was competing in the Straight Arrow class.  My son, his dad, and family were all there.  My son is the senior commander at his church and looks like one of the kids even in his uniform.  He dose look sharp and wears his uniform proudly.  As we intered the church where the competition was held one of the Trailblazers or AST boys asked each other if he was a GMA AST.  My son said yes he was but he was the Senior commander of his outpost and that he was an AST 11 or 12 years before.  They were relieved to find out that they wouldn't have to compete against a GMA.

THE BOYS DO NOTICE AND RESPECT WHAT THE UNIFORM IS AND WHAT IT REPRESENTS.

Don't let lackluster, effortless actions in your outpost take away from your ministry.  This is one of the most worthwhile ministries that I know about.  When the uniform goes on the pride comes up and you have a ranger that is proud and excited to make advancements.
