Thank you for your kind words. Yes the Lord is healing me slowly.
Each part of my signature block has a meaning behind it.
The first line is "There's a storm coming, our Storm." The vision of the "storm" has a
double meaning with a single prupose. It is a quote from "Dune" by Frank Herbert in
which the Framan and the right Heir to the throne of Arakis attack their emeny in
force
use a desert storm as a cover. The second part is a vision that the Lord gave me last
year. In it I saw a town and on the horizon was a very black cloud that reached for
miles. The storm hit the town with all its' force and when the storm had passed the
only buildings still standing were those who had a strong foundation. The meaning of
this vision is that the Holy Spirit is going to move through the Church and only those
with strong foundation in Christ will survive.
So in that one sentence I'm saying that we should take back what satan has taken
from us, what is rightfully ours in Jesus and to lay a strong foundation so we stand
firm
when the storms hits us.
The second line is "PROCLAIMING GOD'S LOVE TO A DYING WORLD" This world is
dying from the lack of Love. All we have to do is look at the evening news to see how
bad the world has got. Men are following their own evil desires which will lead them
to
hell and the second death. We are to proclaim God's Word to this world, Jesus told us
to go into the world and preach the gospel. Jesus died for this world He created and I
reckon it grieves Him to see go down the toilet like it is. So let's tell anyone about
God's Love for them.
The Third line says "Say to the captives, 'come out,' and those in darkness, 'Be
free!'
Isaiah 49:9. Like the line before we are to go to those who are held captive by sin
and
satan and turn the light on for them so they can see Jesus so that they can be free in
Jesus.
Thiis line acknowIedges the gift the Lord has given me, "I looked to the heavens to
where God dwells, I looked into my life to see he lives there as well." The Lord has
given me the gift to see His handiwork in everyday things. If you read some of my
earlier devotions (Cookie has some on his web-page) you can see how this works.
A good example is the devotions on eggs (there's two of them), check 'em out.
The last name "Love in Jesus" because Jesus first loved me then He gave me the
ability to love others. We are told to "Love one another as Jesus loved us. By this
all
men will know that we are His disiples.
I hope this has given you a little insight into who I am in Jesus.
One the best gifts that the Lord has given me is my sense (some would say lack of)
Humour, hence the Larrikin, but he's another story for another day.
