All, I watched a porgram called politiclly incorrect a little bit last night. The show had some of the wrestlers from the WCW. One of the wrestlers they had on really grabed my attention. Not by what he said, but but by the way he looked. Most of you will know him by the Wrestling name of Sting. Instead of being in his makeup and costume. Sting was clean and shaven and looked decent. He looked like someone you would meet on the street. In seeing him it got me to thinking. Does our Royal Rangers outpost wear a mask? It's to say we are Royal Rangers and were the best. But can we honestly say that if the boys are not earing merits/advancments, the leaders do nothing with there boys, there are no awards night, there are no camping trips and your leaders and not trained? What's the point in calling ourselfs Rangers, if the only missions field we know is the four walls we meet in Wednesday night? I've heard the excuse that I don't see many boys where I work. It is that reason enough to place the soul responabilty on your boys? Commanders, take time out to look at your outpost. Hold monthly leaders meetings. If you feel, your outpost is not up to what should be. Take action, don't set on it and don't let the outpost run out of fuel. If you show exectimet, your boys will show exectiment. Like wise if you show discouragement, your boys will show discouragment. Plain and simple.
