To start off with. I and about 20 Military personnel along with 2 Search and Rescue Crews along with the Mountain Ski Patrol and Mountain Rescue all went up the Mountain to Search again. The Snow was rather bad. We got 3 ft at the top while we where there. We had zero Visibility when we went up. At about noon. It cleared up enough to see allot of the area. The weather was too bad to fly anything up there to aid in the search. As of this morning Search and Rescue is still looking on their own and but they will look again this summer to see if they can find the body. Later this week. The Commanding Officer will declare him Missing Presumed Dead. It was a long hard search the past couple of days.

I was wondering what type of resources are involved with this search? You
may want to contact the Washington State wing of the Civil Air Patrol, as
Search and Rescue are part of their main function. They are your air support
in things like this. They could have several planes dispatched to cover some
ground for you as well as ground teams that are all specially trained in
search and rescue. I would believe by now that the local authorities have
been contacted, but if the CAP hasn't been contacted yet, please suggest it.
They are volunteers and they will be there and ready to do what ever type of
extraction is necessary. The Air Force will dispatch them and they will go
and begin with the search. I just wanted to offer my help in suggesting this
to you.
