A little long, but after you read it maybe you will feel like it was worth it.
I couple of weeks ago I took my son and daughter to a rock and gem show. My
son loves rock and has a tumbler and is always brining me presents. Isn't it
the most beautiful rock Mom? (and that was before he got the tumbler). So I
knew he would love the exhibits.
We met the nicest people. They were all patient took their time with us and
answered our questions even though we weren't buying anything. I only had
ten dollars in my pocket and that was my gas money.
We came to a booth and the couple running it looked very tired. I noticed
arrows carved out of stone that were about an inch long and had a finding to
hang from a necklace. I got so excited and then I realized I really had no
money. So I asked the lady if they would do a mail order. I told her I just
loved the arrows and would like to order some for my Straight Arrows. Of
course I told her about SA. Then she asked how many I had and I told her
seven. Then she counted out 7 of the arrows and gave them to me. she said
my husband and I had car trouble all they way from El Paso and we are just
happy to finally be here, take these and give them to your boys.
I told her I would post her and her husbands address on the net to bring her
some business. The Arrows are perfect for the little guys ($5.00) and I am
giving them for Christmas tonight. They had many other nice things. Let her
know the lady she gave the arrows to kept her promise.
