Do the following to correct it:

Change your regional clock settings to "m/d/yyyy" versus "m/d/yy" then you
should be fine with Windows 98.

This can be found on the "Short Settings" by clicking on    Start | Settings
| Control Panel | Regional Settings | Date

Why doesn't the computers accept 2000 after 12-31-99 ? I under stand after
1999 it should go stright to 2000. When i turn my computer on it say january
1 Twenty hundred  not Januart 1, Two thousand.  I dont understand  it. I
