There has been some criticism about doing written meeting plans and/or doing
them in advance. A very simple method that I learned from a great commander
in Illinois (Tom Huber) taught me this very simple method.

Put together a notebook with 52 blank meeting plans in it (or however many
meetings you have in a year). Begin by filling in some of the plans with
ideas for meeting features and other things. Put it where other commanders
and even your GOld bar staff can get to it. Let everyone know that when they
have something they want to teach or a devotion they want to do they are
welcome to find a blank spot on a page and put their idea and name in.

Obviously you'll need to have some complete plans in there before you do this
and sometimes a single meeting feature will last longer than a week. the
idea is to give everyone the chance to participate and put new fresh ideas in.
