Praise God he is doing great things in Germany. The German people I have met here in the U.S. are very well educated and very freindly. Somehow it makes me think of my grandparents some of whom came from Germany. As a very young child I remember some very loving elders from both Germany and Norway whose love was very much like that of the love of my Christian brothers and sisters. I studied the German language at our Jr. College for a credit but had to drop the course to catch up with the more important courses. I seemed to understand German very well for as little as I learned. Our teacher also taught us about some of the German customs which I also admire very much. Here in the U.S. particularly in the northern cities respect is not always a common subject. It is in Outpost One in Woodstock, Il.
If I ever get the money to travel abroad I would love to visit Grmany, Switzerland, Austria and then visit Scandinavia. I would also like to visit my Russian brothers and sisters in a different trip. Going to church and sharing moments of fellowship would be cherished.
For now my place is teaching Pioneers and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Seeing boys grow in Jesus Christ and come to receive Him as their savior is the best sight to behold.
I did pray the new year in like I said I was going to and I did it to
the lantern light. Being with God is the best time, I need nothing better.
I did watch your celebration in berlin on TV around 6 or 7 our time.
Paris was the most impressive but Berlin was beautiful as well. I would
have loved to be in Calvary Chapel.
the only bug I got from Y2K is the flu.
