Greetings all,

With the roll over of the new year, I have not gone away with the
cyber-auction to raise funds for my outpost. I have a pretty good little
selection of stuff that I'm auctioning here as we need some cash flow to help
us with the upcoming year. Our outpost is small, our church is small and our
hearts are big. I have been posting to the Traders list, one of the other
mailing lists that is a part of the Rangernet. I have listed the items that
I am auctioning, the starting bid and what the bidding is presently. I've
included the bidder's first name, e-mail address, District, and the amount
they have bid. If someone has out bid the previous bid, it gets listed again
with the new bid and the old bid gets a tick mark next to it. The Trader's
list was set up so that those looking for patches an other items who would
like to do trading or little auctions like this would have a means to do so
without clogging up the Rangernet. Rangernet is the largest list, reaching a
larger audience and many of you are also on the traders list, but the Traders
list has about 1/2 to 2/3 the subscribers as Rangernet does.
With my Auction, I don't have any patches up for grabs, but I got books,
Blue/white advanced merits, old FCF books, leader's manuals' Adventures in
Camping, Junior Leader's handbook, and Books for EXPLORADORES Del REY, the
Spanish Royal Rangers up for grabs These books are the Leader's manual and
Adventures In Camping that are done in Spanish. And though the copyright is
1991, they are brand new mint condition books received in error. Today is
the cutoff date and I will need to call the bids in tonight by 9:00 pm unless
I get more bids. This auction has been running since early December. To
find out where the bidding is, please subscribe yourself to the Trader's
list. I make the posting under my [EMAIL PROTECTED] screen name.
According to MPJ, there shouldn't be a problem now that all systems are back
up and running. There are over 91 items up for grabs that may have some
sentimental value to us older Rangers. Please help us to accomplish the
mission of "Reach, Teach, & Keep" in our neck of the woods.

In Christ,
Iron Mike Burke
