Dear Rangers, I got this from another Christian list I'm on and it has made me think of those people we ALL elected to run ours countries, I include Australia in this (we have some fine crooks of our own). Things that make you go hmmmm............ Can you imagine working at the following Company? It has a little over 500 employees with the following statistics: 29 have been accused of spousal abuse 7 have been arrested for fraud 19 have been accused of writing bad checks 117 have bankrupted at least two businesses 3 have been arrested for assault 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges 8 have been arrested for shoplifting 21 are current defendants in lawsuits In 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving Can you guess which organization this is? Give up? It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. It could be a good sign of the "End Times" when men will chase after their own desires (read Romans). The one thing that is missing from this list is how many have had "affairs". I am at the stage now where I can not trust my own Government. We have been lied to over the Goods and Services Tax we will have in July. To my way of thinking, if they have lied about this, what else have we been lied to. The only thing that does not change is God's love for us and His promise that His Son will come back to judge this world. God has not lie to us, He said he loved us and He sent his Son to prove it. He said He would not forsake us, He sent the Holy Spirit to help us. He siad He is our Father, and He has given us life more abundant to prove it. Yes He corrects us when we do wrong, but what loving Father does not correct those he loves so they may grow into mature people (christians). If He does not correct us then we are bastards (Hebrews 12:8 KJV). He knows how to give good things to us, think of ALL the blessings you have had this year, even though it is only 14 days old. For some, the blessing of a good wife and family, to all of us, a calling to a program that helps children mature into strong and dedicated Christians. There are many more blessings He poured out on in just 2 weeks. God loves us all. Put your trust in God not men. There's a storm coming, our Storm.
