Thanks for the information. I'm interested to know how this will work out. By the
grace of God, I believe we will use whatever good things Commander Marriot comes up
with to be even more effective in reaching, teaching, and keeping boys (and girls) for
Jesus Christ.
I remember the reaction on the Missionettes mailing list when they updated their
program. There was some initial dismay from some, but then after a while, everyone
seemed to like the new program better. I'm sure some people will feel like their
sacred cow just got shot (i. e., any changes to the uniform, etc.), but let's give our
National Commander the respect and leeway he deserves. I believe he wouldn't change
things without some serious prayer and consideration, especially to the concerns we
all have about phase-in and boys now in the program.
Let Jesus Christ be glorified!
