Dayna You don't use the star. Before the mid-nineties, when LTC book five was completed, a gold pyramid was placed on the LMA centered on the ribbon part of the LMA Class "A" Medal. The star was used instead of a pyramid on the LMA Class "B" Ribbon. About 1994-5-6 the pyramid for book five was don away with.
