Hey Michael
> Wow - just think - you could have ended up being a Texan!!! What an honor!
And to think, I don't like grits. The only thing about becomong a Texian is
that I'd have to reduce everything down, I'm used to having things big :}
As I thought more of the sacrifice that James Bonham and the 188 others
madein defending the Almo in the fight for freedom, I'm reminded me of the
sacrifice one man made to free us all from sin. Me thinks there's a devotion
coming up on this topic.
Another interesting fact has come out about my family history. Another
Bonham was on the California goldfields. When they ran out he moved to the
Victorian (Austalia) goldfields with 29 other Californians. They called
themselves "The Californian Independent Colt Revolver Brigade" (Californian
Rangers for short). They took part in the Eureka Stockade uprising and were
jailed before the British stormed the Stockade. He joined joined up with the
Bonhams of Bathurst (N.S.W.), which where I come from. It seems to me
that the Bonham family has always been fighting for freedom in one way or
another. My fight is to free people from sin and bring them into a relationship
with Jesus.
For the past 6 six years my costume in F.C.F. has been a Californian
Ranger. So, without knowing, I have been honouring one of a my Ancestors.
There's a storm coming, our Storm.
PROCLAIMING GOD'S LOVE TO A DYING WORLD
Say to the captives, 'come out,' and those in darkness, 'Be free!'
Isaiah 49:9
I looked to the heavens to where God dwells
I looked into my life to see he lives there as well.
