Greetings friends I am not all that active on the net lately since my in-laws from Canada have invaded the house and that keeps me busy. So tonight I escaped to venture into RRnet and came across this New RR Program issue. -----Originalnachricht----- Von: Duane Wheeler An: Stefan Fischer Cc: RangerNet Gesendet: 11.02.00 17:56 Betreff: Re: [RR] New RR Program Stefan Fischer wrote: Ok.. German Rangers lead the way! What are some of the traits of the older Trailrangers in Germany? In OP 64 Siegen they are so eager that they - Warthogs- "fired" me and two of them are teaching my former team of trail blazers / Pfadfinder. They are doing an excellent job. Besides that we try to meet for extra prayer and sharing life at my place. The other Trail Ranger left the active involvement and strictly organizes outings and visits. For example we will go to France in March, maybe April to visit WWI sites at Verdun. Then excursions to Lufthansa and the Airbus Aircraft Factory fall under his responsibilities. This will be qite exiting for the younger Pfadfinder/Trail blazers. Also this summer we want to get hocked into evangelistic street work organized by the Calvary Chapel Siegen. A camp organized just for non-RR kids is also on the agenda. Do achievements hold their intrest or do they prefere a social group with outdoor activities? At OP 64 we notice a preference towards "hanging out" with other young people from Calvary Chapel. This is a very fine trend. Our Trail Rangers have been in RR for ten years now and they think RR. Is there any talk of Royal Ranger Code and meaning of the emblem as a vital link to ethics? Do the Geman Rangers hold the RR 's close to the heart? The RR Code is pretty well engrained into their system and part of their life. At their age they have a little difficulty with the uniform but they will overcome that I am sure. One of them admires the stand that Carman takes in the christian walk and goes for the fearless committment that Carman portrays. So he wants me to find out where we can get the Christian flag. Altogether I found out that developing friendships among them and with them is the key to christian success within RR. Unknown to most of the German RR's we develop a program similar to FCF. For now we call it the Grizzly Fraternity and we had our first trail together with the Ntl. Leader last year in Luxemburg. They picked me to develop it further. So any suggestions in that direction will be gladly appreciated. Please use the back channel. God willing I will be in the US from Febr. 26 on. Starting in LA and inch my way over to Phoenix AZ. Would like to meet RRnetters on my crawl across the desert. In the meantime I enjoy the RRnet-company. Special greetings to my friend Eagle Feather in Syracuse.
