I just wanted to let those interested in the GPH catalog update to the
Ranger Database is going great. I have added over 300 catalog numbers
and only a couple of more pages to add...(tuckerd grin) The database
will allow you to add/change any entry so when things change or you find
a mistake... you can easily fix it. I am excited about this feature as
it will allow us to update or records for the boy and on the same screen
add the item to a order that can be faxed out to the District Office for
ordering. Single entry saves time.
This feature also will calculate your order for all items and line items.
It's easy and fast!!! All you do is:
Fill out the advancement click on a button and select the GPH item wth
price/catalog number and description just like the GPH catalog has it and
put in your PO number GPH account number and fax it off.... then click on
a different report that has the boys name and the catalog number
description for the items ordered so when it comes in you know who it
belongs to.
You can pull reports by any field. Whats nice is 20 database fields and
most auto enter info so it is fast and accurate!!!! Ya!
Worst news is it is free as always! Glad to do it and will have a update
out with in a few weeks for download off of my website.
I also started a forms database. I was wondering if I put it up for
download if half of you would type in a form or two and file attache it
to me and I can import the form and put it in the database for all to
download. The forms database wouldn't fill out the information it would
just be easy way to store all our forms and print off a fresh new copy
when needed. Just make it look like the regular form.
