I only want to say that a friend of ours told a very disinterested church
board that Royal Rangers were necessary to even those who had no sons. He
told them that Royal Rangers were building the future husbands for their
daughters. I think that in itself is a marvelous goal. The same could be
said about Missionettes being a vehicle by which girls can learn to be godly
wives for your sons. We need equally yoked young couples more nd more as
history unfolds itself.
Youth groups are co-ed because it is necessary for young people to meet and
date people of their own faith and feelings. It is a stepping stone. My
opinion is that a coed meeting once a quarter would be good for the reason
that we need to learn to get along together. Add camping to Missionettes. I
know of a lot of M. sponsors who do this just for fun. Teach your boys to
respect womanhood as a matter of course. The same for the girls. Teach them
to respect manhood. I don't want to make this any longer, so I won't go on
and on. Just my 3 cents worth. 8o)
