That's the attitude that says we shouldn't participate in politics because
"God will take care of it". Why not apply that to winning souls? Don't
witness, don't be a Ranger commander, God will win whomever He wants. Fact
is, some things that happen in this world are NOT God's will - we have free
will - the right to choose for ourselves. IF everyone obeys God's leading
and votes according to that leading, then yes, God's man will be elected -
but I don't see God as one who reaches directly into the voting results and
changes them. Many things that happen in this world are not God's will - but
He can make good things happen no matter the results. That still doesn't let
us off the hook when it comes to doing what we feel God is leading us to do.
What a great excuse for everything that would be - "I don't have to
participate, vote, pray, witness, or do anything - because God will have
whatever He wants - so I guess we can all backslide because if God really
wants us in heaven - He'll get us there?
