Everyone, A little something from me.
Christians are people, If God sets into play something and we fight against
it, does not mean that we will get our way. do you think Daniel, Ezekiel, and
Jeremiah (all three devout men of God) desired or chose to be held captive
under the rule of God-less leaders. No but nor did they say that it was not
the desires of God. It was a punishment for the nation that chose to not live
according to the law. Have we lived any better (as a country) than the nation
of israel did during that time? Do we not worship idols(ie. money, little
plastic figurines, fame, etc.etc.) than why do we set so much time apart
fighting for who we feel God should put in office and not more time praying
for whosoever God chooses to fill the position? after all it was Daniel,
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego's actions which swayed Darius to believe in
the God of Israel because of their diligence to follow God's commands yet
RESPECT the reign of the man who was placed above them by Allmighty God!
