I received the e-mail below from a good friend of mine who is also our sectional
Straight Arrow/Buckaroo Coordinator. I hope she doesn't mind me passsing this along
but I know that y'all know how to pray! Those of you in North Texas probably already
know her - if not, she's the wife of Roddie McEntire - the FCF'er who owns the store
we all buy from.

Thanks,

Michael

It's 5:00AM on Thursday morning and I can't sleep. I am trying so hard to absorb
everything that has happened in the past week.

For about three-four weeks now I have been having a lot of pressure in my chest and
difficulty breathing. Finally last week I made an appointment with my doctor and on
Thursday afternoon I went in and he did an EKG. It came back abnormal. Tuesday
morning I went to ER and was admitted to the hospital. Yesterday they did two heart
scans and a stress test. The news I received stunned me to say the least. The doctor
says that sometimes, probably within the past few weeks (but not
the past two weeks) I have had, as he put it, a "full-blown silent heartattack". It
has badly damaged the front part of my heart and one corner. I am assuming it is the
left part since the diagonosis from the EKG was a "bundle branch block". He is
turning my case over to a cardiologist named Toabs who is part of a team of
specialists from Tyler but also has an office in Athens. Right now, I am suppose to
have complete rest and take the medication he has given me to strengthen the part of
my heart that is left that is good. We will find out this morning when my appointment
with the specialist is. My doctor says Dr. Toabs will probably want to admit me to
Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler for a heart catherization. We will just take one
step at a time.

Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you very much!!

 Frankie Mae
