Thanks to my operation, McD's has been graciously and mercifully cut out of
my life. I am so thankful for it. McD's was a major stumbling block for me
as was Burger King and Wendy's and others like that. But, God delivered me.
30 years I have spent being a slave to food and I have been set free. Places
like that were enough to cause me to gain weight just by looking at them.
Today, though I want to eat that stuff, I can't, my weight is stabilizing, I
have lost 50 lbs this month and my diabetes is officially gone. I have
energy to be able to work with my Rangers that I used to not have. The energy
from the Pioneers did not rub off on me through osmosis like I kept wishing
it would. But God delivered me. I am here. I am making a new life without
Ronald McDonald and Burger King and Wendy's. God is healing me of my
obstructive sleep apnea (that earned me the name of Cdr Chainsaw) but today,
I am just simply Iron Mike. God is was, and is to come!
