Do pray! Even if you think it's silly or it turns out that nothing has
happened to that person, it can't hurt to pray for him/her. Who knows,
perhaps it was your prayer that prevented a major catastrophe in that
person's life. I'm sure there are plenty on RangerNet that can give
testimonies of receiving an impression from the Lord to pray for someone
which turned out to be a present need that He supplied because of obedient
prayer.
I received an impression once from the Lord to continue praying for some
friends whose marriage was DEAD! (One of them had fallen back into the pit
of alcoholism & just couldn't get out.) I was going to quit praying but He
told me that no matter how dismal things looked to keep praying for them.
Less than a month later they were suddenly & miraculously restored. Not only
that but thru that situation was also able to lead the drinking buddy to
Christ. Saturday they renewed their marriage vows, using the occasion as a
testimony of Jesus' healing grace in their lives.
