Thanks to everyone who responded from my questions, from a few weeks ago, regarding (1) Did they teach the Ten Commandments at Rangers Meetings and (2) How did they observe Sunday (the Christian Sabbath). Response: (1) As I recall, no one objected to teaching the Ten Commandments at Rangers meetings. This was refreshing, since there is a movement in evangelical circles away from using the Ten Commandments as part of the overall standard for Christian conduct. (2) There was a lot of variation in how obligated people felt to observe the stricter requirements of the Sabbath on the Lord's Day. Most people use the day for attending church and visiting friends and family. Most people also try to eliminate commercial activities. Room was left for necessary work.
