The National office is bound to the denomination, and must therfore obey all
edicts; especially copywrite. The National staff is on salary, and gets no
percentage of Ranger material sold by GPH. And as a non-profit
organization, can accept only donations.
No, Royal Rangers is not an integral part of GPH. GPH is the
publishing/distribution arm of the General Council of the Assemblies of God,
and they operate to make a profit. Now where those profits go is another
question. Furthermore, the National Office does circumvent GPH as they sell
some Ranger stuff that is only available through the National Office. My
understanding is the Ranger copyright is held by the Men's Ministry. I
never said the National staff got a cut of the profits. Additionally, as a
non-profit they can sell items for profit in addition to taking donations.
