Hello everyone! Yesterday I heard a most interesting speaker by the name of Tony Evans. He gave an illustration that really touched me. If you had two apples one absolutely perfect, firm bright smooth and shiny, the second red, bright and shiny, with but one little flaw, there is a whole in it. Now you and I both know that we would eat the unflawed apple. Why because we know that there is no worm in it. Little do we know how wrong we might be. That whole we view as a bad thing is really a good sign. You see what happened is that the worm became trapped in the apple when it was just a larvae. It was probably munching on the apple blossom and then slowly the apple grew around it. Eventually the larvae became a worm and the worm proceeded to work its way out to the surface, just like most bad things. You see God knows about the worm of sin that hides in our hearts. If we allow God to have his way he will remove it, but if we hold onto it, it will eventually come to the surface and be found out any way. Hope this blesses you.
