Hey there just want to get the word out I have a new hair do.
Yep
no Joke just ask Josh [EMAIL PROTECTED] I tried to dye it green but it
wouldn't work to well. Got it purple know. I am doing it as a research
paper as well. Do people discrimanate against people who have weird hair
colors. What I will have in it, is that how many discriminate against.
What
they said, was there any Christians. Lets hope I don't have to go that far.

I just want to see if we Christians are discriminate or we as Christians are
teaching Jesus Love. Let you know of the results
 John

PS:Please no flames. Show me in the bible where it saids one can't have
purple hair. Didn't Jesus ate with the worst sinners? >>

I can tell you the answer. They will discriminate against you. You will get
looks continuously. One of my friends just did his hair leopard print, and
we ent to a church service and all we got were looks.

A couple of verses used in this context to say that we can't do this or do
that are...

I Cor 6:12 - "Everything is permissable for me" - but not everything is
benificial. "Everything is permissable for me" - but i will not be mastered
by anything

This verse has to deal with sexual immorality. Taken out of context it means
whatever you want it to mean. in context it says that just because you can
do sexual immoral things does not mean you should.

Roman 12:1 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind.

The part of the versethey forget is the second half. "Then you will be able
to test and approve what God's will is - his good and pleasing perfect will."
Remember this comes right after Romans 12:1 calling us to offer our bodies
as living sacrifices.

Best argument I know of is Freedom in Christ

Galatians Chapter 5

1 - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do
not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (slavery reffering
to the law)

2 - Mark my words! I , Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be
circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

3 - Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is
obligated to obey the whole law.

(2-3 explained ~ circumcision as law. if you are circumcise to show faith to
man then Christ means nothing to you and the law is your slavery, the entire
law.)

4 - You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from
Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

5 - but by faith we eagerly await through the spirit the righteousness for
which we hope.

6 - For in Christ Jesus neither circumsion nor uncircumsion has any value.
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

The most important part of those verses is < b >"The only thing that counts
is faith expressing itself through love." What you look like has lees to do
with your Christianity then your witness.
