Philipians 1:9:

and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that
ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ...
Las Vegas has much more to offer than gambling, which, needless to say,
wouldn't be what a Royal Ranger commander would be doing anyway. As
Christians, we are guided by the Holy Spirit, NOT the devil. If a
Christian wants to go to Las Vegas for his honeymoon, than there is
nothing wrong with that. The sin would be giving in to temptation and
doing something unacceptable. Sin "permeates and suffuses" on this entire
planet. If you need proof, just read the news. By telling them that LV
isn't a place for Christians to go, ever, you undermine their spiritual
maturity and you undermine the power of judgement given by the Holy
Spirit. A grown man knows what is right and wrong. If he has prayed about
it, and the Lord tells him it is alright for him and his bride to
honeymoon, than so be it. End of story.
We as Rangers (And Ranger Netter's) need these emails to be uplifting and
scriptural, not based on human feelings and emotions. Let's all, as
leaders in our church, do our best to bring a word from the Lord to each
other in situations like these, instead of going with our first gut
