Frapper teaches in a middle school and it is in a very rough area of
Houston.
He teaches kids that are just an inch away from arrest. They have periodic
suprise locker searches with patrolmen and dogs. It is impossible to keep
over 1100 kids under constant survellance. In his school, they deal with
rape, guns, knives, dope, stealing, fights (not your boys and girls circling
each other, but real live trying to kill each other fights) Girls are worse
than boys. If the things were in the boy's trunk, I have no problem with
them. How were they found? If he was carrying, shame on him. It is like a
Korean War Movie, it is hard to tell the bad guys from the good. Zero
tolerance is for a reason. Some school personnell are gun shy for good
reason. Some are just plain foolish. It is a war zone in some schools,
just
like in the movies. The shower girl deserved what she got, that was just
plain ornery, but good kids get mixed in with the others when teachers are
sweeping with a new broom. Just remember, your boys see this every day.
Hold 'em up in prayer and show confidence. Janet on the soap box again
