please allow me one question:

What does bying some goldfish have to do with cutting a barrel in half ?

The whole world says that we Germans are,- let's say a bit technically
inclined .
I know we build Wurstmaking machines.
That is one situation where meat meets metal. Makes sense.

But for crying out loud, a goldfish and a barrel, this is like higher
mathematics or as difficult to understand as basketweaving.

I know that while I am writing these lines you are asleep down under (or is
this why you need goldfish for cutting a barrel in half) but please give me
assurance a.s.a.p. that I have not lost out on something.

First you go out and buy some goldfish, then you cut the barrel in half.
Next you can 
either weld or place on top your cooking surface. Make sur you have
enough room
