The government doesn't really do that - it's so much easier to stay on welfare (not for all, but for many) than it is to get a job and make a living. < I agree, Jesus did not go only to the rich and powerful, He went to the poor and humble. He told us to into ALL the world and preach the gospel. That includes going under the bridges to the homeless and helping them. Jesus always addressed the person's problem first then told them the Good News of Salvation. The only person He didn't do this to was the Thief on the cross. When a person has an real encounter with Jesus they will want to change to be more like Him. Don't forget that Jesus worked for about 20 years before He went "full-time". I'm glad that you have a job and are looking after your family financially, keep it up and the Lord will honour you in the most unexpected way. There's a storm coming, our Storm.
