Greetings I am excited as this years Powwow gets nearer. I have been to over 50 powwows, but there is something special and exciting about this one. I really believe that God is going to do something special at this one. There is such an excitement in the staff as we have been praying and planning for this event. The leaders packet, updated boy packet, registration forms and all the competition forms are available on the internet (http://www.novia.net/rangers/) in a word document. Powwow Patch now posted on website. The theme is "X-treme for Jesus". We will have some X-treme fun, fellowship, and services. Rev. Steve Bell is our X-treme speaker. We have a NEW X-treme event planned for this Powwow. It is the first annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. Other districts that have had these events say it is one of the highlights of their powwow, similar to the pinewood derby. The powwow is load with a lot of fun events for your boys. But the time that we spend in the evening services and around the altars will long be remembered. You don't want to miss this Powwow. Even if you aren't ready to compete in all the events (uniform, campsites, etc.) you will still have a great time. The best way to promote this is to contact the parents one on one and to have a fundraiser to help reduce the boy's cost. Let me know if there is anything that we can do to help you.
