After church on sunday a group of 10, 4 leaders and 6 Royal Rangers
headed to the Linden Lure Access on the Finely River South East of
Springfield, Missouri. We blew up a 6 man rubber raft and 2 inner tubes
and put a trowling motor and battery on a canoe and headed up river from
the 7 foot dam.

A mile or so up River we hiked up the River bank STEEP RIVER BANK to
some Over hangs that the Indians used to make camp under. Then back to
the dam to swim and then to the rapids where the boys had a great time
in. The boys had fun getting behind the water that was flowing over the
dam and walking behind the water falling over the dam. Snakes and Pop
were great and we even were blessed with a closeup visit from a Cooper
head swiming in the rapids.

We got back in time to shower, change clothes eat a bite and then back to
Church for Evening Service. I didn't even miss my Sunday Nap.

Just sounding off to encourage everyone of you to take them Rangers
places!
