Dear Rangers, Five weeks ago my beast mate, Bram left for the USA and England with the Sydney Staff Songsters (Salvation Army singers). About a week after he left I started to miss him coming over and chatting over a cup of coffee. I got a few postcards from him, but that made me miss him more. I longed for his fellowship. It is the same with Jesus, the more we come to know him the more we want to be with him. My friendship with Bram has been built on over the the years to a point were our friendship means a lot to both of us. We can have this relationship with Jesus. I takes years of the Holy SPirit working in our lives to repair the damage done by the world, all our hurts, anger, hate, our unforgiveness to some is all replaced with a deep love and a passion to tell others of our friendship. He turns our hurt into joy, our a anger into peace, our hate into love, our unforgiveness into forgiveness. He turns you around and puts you feet on solid ground, as Van Morrison would say. I'm so blessed to have three great friendships in the world, my friendship with Lindy (my wife), Bram (me best mate) and Jesus, my Lord and Saviour. Man, am I really blessed. The thing with having Jesus as your friend, he sends others to guide in building up your friendship with him. For me it is my Senior Commander, Paul Robinson (I've known him for more then half my life), he speaks into my life with love and concern, helping me to grow more Christlike each day. So what more could a man want? There's a storm coming, our Storm. PROCLAIMING GOD'S LOVE TO A DYING WORLD Say to the captives, 'come out,' and those in darkness, 'Be free!'
