[RR] Mascot and such

All, When I attended High School in Lewiston ,Maine the school mascot was the Blue Devils. No, I'm not joking. I don't see any reason why a mascot should keep someone from playing sports ,ect. Just because the school mascot has devil in it ,doesn't mean they worship Satan. Question: do you aviod deviled ham because it has the  word devil in it?
