Do you have any Pinewood Derby cars you'd like to show-off? Do you have any
speed or design tips that you'd like to pass along to other Rangers across
the country?
The official Royal Rangers website is preparing to open the Pinewood Derby
Garage. The garage will have two sections that you and other visitors will
be able to make contributions to.
The SHOWROOM: This is our virtual showroom that features Rangers' Pinewood
Derby cars from all across the US (and hopefully some from other countries
as well). Currently, we are looking to build up a number of entries for the
garage's grand opening. If you have a car that you'd like to submit to be
one of the first cars in the showroom, I've included the instructions and
requirements below.
Image Format
Electronic Files Only (do not mail photo prints or photocopies).
If you have not taken the photo, please choose a plain background
(see sample photo).
JPEG format color images set for the highest quality.
Pixel size should be at least 300 pixels wide. We will size it for
display and thumbnail images.
Include the raw photo image only. Do not add type or make any
alterations to the photo. This will disqualify your photo for consideration.
Required Information
Your first initial and last name.
Your Age Group (Leader, Straight Arrows, Buckaroos, Pioneers, etc.)
Your Email address (This will be used for entry questions and
notifications only).
Your Royal Rangers District.
The name of your car (if any).
The formatted image file (see "image format" above).
Send this information in an Email to our webmaster (email address:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) with "PWD SHOWROOM ENTRY" in the subject line of the email.
All entries that contain all the required information will be considered for
inclusion into the showroom.
TIPS & TRICKS: If you have secret trick or a little-known trip for making a
car go faster or look better, send it in! We're gathering tips & tricks
from Rangers and Leaders everywhere, and we want yours to be included!
Following are the instructions for submitting a tip or trick to the garage!
Required Information
Your first initial and last name.

The Title of Your Tip or Trick
A Complete Description of the Tip or Trick (what you'll need, how to
do it, how it works, and the results).

All entries that contain all the required information will be considered for
inclusion into the tip & trick section.
