As if anyone cares.... :-)
After our Powwow I took the family along with
me on my business trip to Washington, DC with the intent to show them a few
places there...
We were on our way down to the Smithsonian when my
kids saw a sign that said Virginia Beach (where we lived when they were born and
such) and they insisted on going there instead... sooo... 3 hours later, we were
showing them around our old stomping grounds and walking on the
beach. Had a wonderful dinner at my favorite restaurant there....
(ate way too much)...
Went back to DC and did some more work, then got
another wild hair and decided to extend our trip and go further south see
friends in Charlotte, NC...
I must have lost 500 pounds down there in mere
sweat... I forgot how humid Carolina was.... got back up to New Hampshire
last night and about froze my tutu off. Amazing difference in weather from
North to South. I think I'll stay up here in the cooler place...
:-)
Twas a great weekend though. Took the kids
out on an ATV down in Carolina (my friend has 100 acres of cool ATV terrain) and
had a blast. Even went to their *Baptist* church on Sunday.... and hey...
them Baptists are actually saved afterall! hehe.
