[RR] Can you say "AMAN" ??

all,
What does it mean  when your church pastor say  after each phrase or a 
sentance  " Can you say AMAN"?   For an example He say "our god is a swesome 
God" can you say Aman? then almost every one say AMAN.  I dont understand it??
