All my RR Family,

I have to say this as I'm in Australia for the Olympic games.
It's always been a dream of mine to come to Australia. Unless
you've been here you won't understand how different and vast and
beautiful this country is. Also the people are friendly ready with a
smile and a hardy "G-DAY Mate".

Another great thing is to be at the Olympics. It 's an experience that I'll
remember all my life. To be there in person to witness your country win
an Olympic Gold Medal fills you with pride and emotion.

I've said all that to say this, The one thing that I'd have to say is my best
experience is when I visited Outpost 49 of Australia ( The Larrikin's Outpost).
I've never been treated better by people who didn't know me. All I can say
is "Thank you Larrikin for the invite and Thank You Outpost 49 for the fantastic
Welcome. ( Larrikin please pass this along to Senior Commander Paul and Outpost
49 for me)

Lastly if any of you are going to travel away from home and can find the time
stop
in for a visit of a local Royal Ranger Outpost. You won't regret it. But if you
want a
guarantee of a great welcome come to Australia and visit with Outpost 49.

Bill Elliott Cmd. Outpost 289 Bensalem, Pa USA.
