Hi, Abe Lincoln was a Christian as was his wife and children. He had trouble
with bouts of depression and had extreme headaches which could possibly be
helped today. Because of these fits of depression, he became a fatalist,
which meant he tended to be pessimistic. When he died, his wife was
comfortable with the idea that she would see him again in Heaven. His father
was a God fearing man who tried to live a righteous, fair and just life.
