My heads still in a whirl. Some of you know that I left Rangers and now help out in an organization called Boys' Brigade - a forerunner of the Scouts! Whilst definitely seeing itself as a christian organization it is a lot lower key that RR possibly because the congregations it is attached to tend to be a lot less evangelistic. However, tonight I was taking a badge class with two boys. I had picked the subject of miracles of Jesus (and had to return home when I was halfway there because I had forgotten my materials). As is my custom, I did not "preach" to the boys but asked them questions to probe their understanding (both attend a Church of England (Episcopalian) school. I cannot remember the ebbs and flows of the conversation but in the course of it I explained about Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and eventually we got to talking about death and heaven and hell. I explained that you needed to accept Jesus to be certain of a place in heaven when the wisdom of children struck.
"So how do you know when you are going to die so that you can accept Jesus"?
"You don't know when you are going to die".
"So when should you accept Jesus"?
"As soon as possible. Do you want to accept him now"?
"Yes".
"Let's pray. Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me for all the things I have done wrong..........."

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!

Please pray for Nathan and James.
