If memory serves me properly the same thing happened not too many elections
back when Ross Perot
drew a lot of republican votes and gave us a democratic president. Instead
of getting disgusted with the whole political scene and hype our nation
would be better served if we got on our knees and prayed God would put the
right man in office. Elections are about inuendo, half truths and rumors.
Don't let the media hype distort your spiritual vision. May we do what II
Chronicles 7:14 says...and My people who are called by My name humble
themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then
will I hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and heal their land.(NIV)
It does not take a rocket scientist to see this country is very sick. That
sickness cannot be cured in the halls of congress. That sickness can only be
cured in the prayer closet of a united church. Excuse the sermon this has
been on my heart.
